To buy a puppy of this breed there are many ways, but the most common method is to on the list of the breed association, or to inform yourself directly from a breeder and to sign up for a puppy.
We want to warn you against impulsive purchases and we will try as best as possible to inform you how to act. We know that we place ourselves in a vulnerable position because there are always people who do not agree to this and make it known through articles on the Internet or try to persuade you of their views

Therefore, we have a lot of contacts with other breeders in the Netherlands and abroad and we visit, if possible, all meetings of the association. Health surveys are of course a must.
First, please inquire at the breed association (see link) to the standards that a dog must meet. You approach them for the pup-mediation. They will inform you in good conscience, I can promise you that. You can also use this information in the back of your mind to sign up with some breeders’ waiting list.
Note ….. The membership of the association does not necessarily mean that you have found a good breeder!

You will find our nests on the puppy list of the association from the moment the puppies are born but if you want a puppy from us you can directly register with us! Please look at various breeders (by appointment) or call them because not everyone has the opportunity to directly receive you. Some even had bad experiences (eg sign up never to be heard from again), and then asks to be allowed to visit if puppies have arrived. You can ask them various things and a good breeder will inform you well. Unfortunately, there is always’ chaff among the wheat, “so to speak, as we sometimes sold dogs to people who, despite their promises to do good, neglect their task. You are the one who decides where to buy a dog and you have a responsibility to find the most appealing breeder.

Always check with the breeder to:
1 Hip-results (HD) parents must be at least C or B, but preferably A. (combination is possible.)
2 PRA results parents (eye examination), must ‘provisionally free’ or ‘free’.
3 Show-results, ‘Very Good’ is the minimum necessary to be allowed to breed.
4 Approval breed association for the existing combination.
5 Behaviour parents. In case of incorrect information you can always appeal to the breeder later.
6 If necessary. Diseases that are known in the blood line which has been used. (there are “breeders” who do not even know what “blood line” means!)
Please note:
1 See broodstock good. Usually, only the mother present (father dog is often another owner and therefore not present!)
2 Is the environment clean. Stinks not, Is the story of the breeder credible.
3 Is there enough room for the animals.
4 Feel the tail with the pups, it should not have to bend, which is a serious deviation.
5 Is the dentition scissor and no so-called under-or over bite (upper or lower jaw longer than the other.)
6 Are there many teeth missing in the mother dog? You better look further.
Despite beautiful stories, do not believe in stories that just 4 teeth missing by a so-called “trauma”!
